Automatic Copy to my Calendar

I have 2 users running Outlook 2010.  1 user works fine, the other has the following issue:

When he goes to his public calendar and creates an event, he then attempts to invite himself as an attendee.  Fills out the information and clicks send.  He gets the normal prompt: "This meeting is not in the Calendar folder for this account.  Responses to this meeting will not be tallied" (This is fine, no worries there)

What he doesn't get is the prompt to see if he would like to copy the event to his Personal Calendar.  (This prompt should follow the tallied item prompt, but doesn't)

I know it would be simpler to use the "Copy to my Calendar" button just above the subject line, but this is the owner of the company and he wants the automatic prompt that he did have at one point in time.

I have recreated his profile, and reviewed every option that I thought would be remotely close to answering resolving this issue.  We have enabled and disabled Cached mode, as well as installed all Office updates.  I can find no forum that specifically answers the question.  (also, please note that it's an event he send to himself, therefore the auto accept scheduling/calendar invites is not part of the solution)

Thank You all,

Im a little confused......why does he need to invite himself if he is creating the event? He already is invited because he is the creator....

That's the thing, he's not fully able to invite, he cannot accept the invitation from the public folder, it needs to be copied, and for whatever reason pressing the copy button is not the solution he wants, he wants it to prompt for the Copy as he creates and invites himself.  We've burned one of our Partner solutions for the year, and Microsoft is drawing a blank even.

So the final answer after weeks with Microsoft is that the auto fill got messed up, if we deleted the auto fill file and then re-select the name from the GAL, it works.

Tested and it works, Microsoft took weeks to replicate the issue and dig through their product logs.
