Move a DAG member from existing DAG

I have four exchange servers. Both the mailbox servers are on DAG.

EX1 HT,Mailbox
ex2 HT,CAS,Mailbox
ex3 HT,CAS Witness server
ex4 HT,CAS alternate witness server

I want to move EX1 and Ex3 to other site/different subnet. What is the best way..

First dismantle the existing DAG, remove the db copy, remove exchange from both Ex1 and Ex3, take it another site, give new ip's and install it again, make sure you have one write-able DC on another site with GC enabled.

Then setup the DAG, it seems you are planning for stretched DAG.

Or Setup new server in your new site and then setup the DAG.

That's the way, i will do it. You can try without removing it.

I went through another article and it does not mention to uninstall the exchange.

DAG already was in place and has to reconfigure to stretch between sites. This was the workable solution.
