Outlook redownloading

Hi,

My boss's outlook has "save a copy on server" checked and using pop3.

This is maybe 5th time happening, all his email on the server have been redownloading.  I talked to the hosting company (Rackspace), they told me I need to recreate an outlook profile.

What I did was I remove his account in outlook, and recreate a new one (new pst).  Is this correct? or there is a better way?  thanks

You need to recreate them all if you set new Outlook profile, I would suggest to first export all the data to PST

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/export-outlook-items-to-an-outlook-data-file-pst-HA102534110.aspx

All the accounts are set to 'Leave Copy on Server'?
How do they not reach the mailbox size limit?

If that solve the problem so I guess its OK, but if not you should try to recreate the profile

Check here for instructions how to do it

yes, all have "leave a copy"......the mailbox size is 25G.

We have two email hosting companies, one is Rackspace, one is Google, we have never had this problem with Google.
