We use Lync 2013 for instant messaging but we don't want the users to transfer files using Lync 2013.

Does anyone know know how to disable file transer for Lync 2013 using reg keys or the policy number to get it done.
I think the reg key should be enablefiletransfer but I cannot find any information on the reg keys for Lync 2013

Do you want to disable it for all users?

You can run the command below from Lync Management Shell.
Set-CsConferencingPolicy -Identity global -EnableP2PFileTransfer $False

You could also create a policy that is for certain users/groups if needed.

thank you jake77444

Yes we do want to disable it for all the users.
As I work with reg keys to switch things on or off I am hoping for direction in that.
