OKI Printer on 2012 RDS

I have a remote user that uses a legacy OKI ML 320 9 pin driver that gets redirected in a Windows 2012 RDS session.  The server automatically wants to use the Easy Print driver, but we need to use a different driver for this device.  The proper driver is installed on the server, but I cannot apply the driver to this device.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remote Desktop will use Easy Print by default unless you disable it in group policy.
On your terminal server, the local policy (gpedit.msc) is under User Configuration -> Admin Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host then Printer Redirection.  Set "Use Remote Desktop Easy Print" to DISABLED.

While did get the proper driver to finally load using this method, it turns out that the printing is not what we had hoped for since the printer does not seem to be supported.  Surprise...
