hi guys,

Our old BES server has come up with the blue screen of death and it just won't load or boot even in safe mode. There is a spare server which is similar.

I can take out the disk from the BES server and put it into this one as slave?

The BES version is old (4.1) but I have the software etc. The exchange environment until we transition to the new version, is also old so I can't use BES Express sadly.

If your server died like that, based on what tools I've given here, what is the best/fastest way to get everything up and running again?

Thanks a lot

Install BES 4.1 or BES Express on the new server then follow the steps: http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/forums/general-bes-discussion/10522-help-bes-server-restore-without-backup.html

If you have a backup of the database then: http://www.zensoftware.co.uk/kb/KnowledgebaseArticle10360.aspx
