Hi,

I want to learn ecommerce for small businesses like a single shop. I have already used a few like zen cart, oscommerce etc

I have seen a few packages around I wanted a ecommerce free download with a good community when I get stuck.
I need the store to work on different sizes and if possible work with a grid like bootstrap.

Is wordpress a good solution for this ?
What are a few options as all ecommerce solution's claim they are good.

A php/mysql db is what I prefer.

Wordpress is not an ecommerce solution - it has pluggins that add ecommerce functionality though - as do Joomla and drupal.

Another good option is Magento - which is a dedicated ecommerce platform - not a plugin to a CMS / Blog.
