You can install vmware tools for RHEL from vcenter - Guest > Install VMware Tools.

Or you can put the vmware tools tar ball on a web server and put it inside the script. For example -
wget http://server/VMwareTools-<version>.tar.gz
tar xvf VMwareTools-<version>.tar.gz -C /tmp
perl /tmp/vmware-tools/vmware-config-tools.pl -d

You can install vmware tools for RHEL from vcenter - Guest > Install VMware Tools.

#mount /dev/dvd /mnt/iso

move tar file to /tmp

#tar -zxvf /tmp/<tar file>

# cd vmware-distrib-*** (directory name)

#./installer.pl
