how to completely uninstall surfcop
hi i am running isa 2006 and installed a few weeks ago 'surfcop'.
i have since uninstalled 'surfcop' a few weeks ago and for some unknown reason when i try to access the internet it shows a message which i have attached to this thread which appears to have also stopped me from browsing the internet via my isa 2006 and my win 7 laptop showing the exact same message!!
qns1. does anyone know how to rectify this ?
note: when i do a search and locatedit locates some residual 'surfcop' files in the following so i have also deleted the (_sc) folder as below but still same issue:
c:\program files\microsoft isa server\ui_htmls\_sc
surfcop-issue.docx

Its good to know that problem is resolved :)

even though it did not resolve my issue, this was probably because i had already uninstalled 'surfcop', so it did not detect those residual folders and files left behind, but i have still allocated points as this tool may come in useful at a later date if i do re-install surfcop and come across a problem again or something else.

what i did was check the c:\ and saw that even after uninstalling isa 2006 it left folders and files on my hardrive which also contained 'surfcop' files that are integrated into isa 2006. so i deleted those folders also and rebooted.
so far it appears this has rectified my problem and as a result i have install clean isa 2006 without also installing 'surfcop' and all appears well.
i will however allocate points as 'pro uninstaller' may come in useful at a later date.
much appreciated
