I am trying to use an Amazon EC2 vm running server 2012 to run remoteapps.  However it seems S2k12 requires the server running RD and remote apps to be joined to a domain.  However with a single machine setup using it also as a DC it wont let you use the same DC machine as the RD host machine.  With S2k8R2  remoteapps/terminal services did not have to be on a domain joined machine, but i can't seem to workout a configuration with a single machine using server 2012.
