have tried by passing the smarthost and patching exchange etc but it just refuses to send out of office replies when turned on via OWA or Outlook etc.<br />

Made sure that under Hub transport and remote domains it's set to send out of office messages only etc.<br />
Also pretty much compared to other SBS 2008/Exchange 2007 &nbsp;which I know do work sending responses etc. <br />

could it be perhaps the Exchange database at fault?
