We are using a web filtering product on our site that requires a proxy address and port # in order to function correctly for the users. I am looking for some help on how to create and push a proxy script for fire fox AD wide. We have successfully pushed one out for IE but I am finding very little help out there on the WWW on script proxies for Firefox.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Firefox this is accomplished through FirefoxADM by Group Policy and Administrative Templates in Active Directory.

The project is located here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/firefoxadm/

This is the deployment documentation: http://homepages.ed.ac.uk/mcs/FirefoxADM/ADM_Deploy.pdf

This project includes all the scrips that you need. Once you deploy the project in Group Policy following the steps above, you will be able to lock down the proxy settings and set any proxy that you like.
