Publisher won't print to color printer in color, but will save to PDF in color

We have a file that when we try to print from Publisher it will only print Black and White to our Toshiba eStudio printer.  When I save the file to a PDF it saves as color.  When we print the PDF from Adobe Acrobat Reader it will print in color.  I'm hoping someone has an easy way to fix this.  I think we're getting the copier replaced here in the next 2-3 weeks, but I'd love to make this end-user happy for the time. :)

Thanks!

Just in case it matters we're using the Toshiba e-STUDIO Universal PCL6 driver.

From experience with MS Word, it seems that it, and probably Publisher, have idiosyncratic ways of using the printer, so I would  first try the latest printer drivers, or re-installing them if that is what you are already using
