VMware moving a VM to another ESXi host

I purchased a new IBM server to replace a 7 year old Dell server and I need to know how to manually move the VM's on the Dell ESXi host to the new IBM ESXi host once it comes in.

Note: I do not have Vmotion license, my boss only approved buying hardware and not software.

Power off the VM
Unregister the VM from the old host
Copy the VM's folder to the new host
Register the VM on the new host
Power it up

If you need details for any of these steps, let us know what VM management tools you are using.

If you have a VCenter Server you can power off the VM and then just migrate it to the other host.  Otherwise the Veeam Option is pretty simple.

Thanks I found Vcenter about the same time you recomended it and it looks like the solution I will use. I do have another issue but will post that in a new request. Last time I was fully involved in VMware was about 8 years ago so a lot is different.
