McAfee VSE Remote Console Respository Update Error
Has anyone ever tried to update a McAfee VirusScan Console Repository using the remote console and received this error when you tried to save your changes? "Edit AutoUpdate Repository List. Failed to create the repository list. Error = fffffff5." I'm not creating anything.. I was simply renaming the AutoUpdate task. The error pops up in a small wscript type box. Small domain of a few servers logged in as a domain admin connecting to another domain server. Connection goes through just fine. I've checked all rules on both server to see if anything would prevent it. No, I'm not using ePO as this is just a small domain of about 5 servers. I can however create a new Mirror task or Update task but I can't edit the repositories at all.

I was mistaken, that patch didn't exactly fix it. I did some more research and found it's a Access Protection setting "Prevent modification of McAfee Common Management Agent Files and Settings. I changed it to report only and I was able to do what I needed. That patch actually cleared up a few other bugs I had so appreciate the help.
