How do I troubleshoot a continue button creating no error messages in a Content Management System (Opencart)?

I installed a content management system called Opencart, however when I click the continue button on the checkout page it doesn't work. I installed Firebug, but I am not even sure what I am looking for. I am a total novice in these matters, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have seen where other people have had the same errors, but there are no solutions to my issue online. Please let me know what additional information to add here. As I told you I am a beginner. I can read as many books as I want, but its all gibberish until I can make the connections.

I rather not post a direct link as I have signed an NDA. Is there anyway I can contact you privately and we can post the results to this thread once completed?

It was a Captcha issue that required viewing the actual code and debugging.
