How do I remove this gray line?

I have a site here:  http://argianas.com/site/brochure/

and there is a partial gray box appearing on the left side (see screenshot).

I cannot figure out where is coming from or how to remove it.

It is also appearing on this page:  http://argianas.com/site/category/key-employees/

where the text starts "Since 1992".

Any help is appreciated.

You have a PNG called "rec_bg.png"  in style.css on line 142,   remove it

Your "Since 1992" issue will be fixed by the line 142 fix also.
