Notepad++; Delete records from x to y

You can select the records by clicking the line number on the left hand side and dragging down.

Then you right click and select delete.

Sorry.  I know that.  I was not clear enough on my question.   The number of records is in the 10's of thousands, so that method is not realistic.  

I did manage to easily block comment them out.  Maybe there is a simple way to delete all block commented lines?
