outlook owa
in our outlook owa, if someone has an attachment for a voice message, so it would be a .wav file
for the user, She states that whenever she clicks on a link that links to the attachment for the wav file, it will open a blank page
I tried a test machine WinXP, IE8, and my attachment isn't even there in OWA, but in actual outlook, it is there as an attachment and opens without a problem.
On my test machine, In IE I put our OWA address in the list of trusted sites, and trusted sites security level is low.
any ideas on how to get this to work so that in OWA you could just double click the wav attachment and it opens with media player?
PS. she can save the wav file. then it opens fine. she would prefer to double click it

on my xp box, I made sure that .wav file were associated with media player, and checked WMP like you have in your post, and it is all setup correctly.
but I'm still not even seeing the attachment in OWA?
