Hi, how do I remove a light switch cover which has no screws?
I tried prying the inner rectangle with a flat screwdriver, but cant get it out.
The outer frame I suspect is held onto the wall by spackling paste. so I don't want to take off all the paste. Would this be possible without removing the paste?

If it's stuck with paint, you'll need a new (sharp) razor blade.  Gently run the blade under the edges of the cover to cut the paint.

First, check that the switch plate cover is not designed to be pried off.  These type of covers snap over the actual switch plate in order to hide the screws.  I don't know of any switch plates that don't have screws at all...just ones that are hidden by a cover.

A cover that is meant to be pried off will have a small notch on the bottom of the cover.  You can look from underneath and stick a small standard screwdriver in the slot and pry gently.
