Using Excel inside Word 2013

Hello Folks,,

I do have Microsoft Office 2013 installed. I have a huge excel sheet that I need to copy in word file. One of the option is to copy it in the word , which I used to do it regularly.

I am looking for an option, where I can create excel sheet inside word, which I see there is an option and I liked it as it gives perfection in the document. But for large sheets that can take more than a page , is it possible to be created in excel sheet inside word, so the excel extends more than a page or more

Hi Siddarth,

Word does not allow the Excel object to extend across multiple pages.

So, you either have to choose:
- If you like editing the cells from within Word, you have to paste different parts of the Excel file over multiple pages.
- Copy from Excel into Word and choose Paste option 'Link and keep destination formatting' or 'Link and merge destination formatting'. If you update the Excel file, the data in word will also update.
