Hello,

I´m  currently creating an applet, this applet will read the card from the smart card reader, my problem is....

There are a lot of smart card readers, each one with a different library to run it, how can I do it at the applet? Choose the smart card reader from the system and use it, I know how to load the card if the driver is loaded, but how can I find the driver?

I don´t need the code, just the idea.

Thanks, best regard´s!

Do the smartcard drivers that you are interested in support a standard API such that you can just use...

http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/jre/api/security/smartcardio/spec/

... and the installed driver gets discovered automatically?
