IE Settings

I have a Client that needs to be able to change the settings on IE, every part of the program on roughly 300 Kiosk machines.  

They are not using AD I have them doing a Demo on Desktop Central.  Desktop Central can deliver the script to change all the machines, however I and my client are struggling with a way to develop the script to make a particular registry setting changes in IE.  Does any body know of a script generator that is easy to use and can help us make these changes in IE.

The only way you can achieve what you're looking for is by importing registry settings that will have a similar effect as Group Policy changes you would have to make in a domain environment.

So, you could create a .REG file with all the changes you want and then deploy them with a batch file:

@echo off
regedit.exe /s import.reg
exit

Obviously this would have to be adapted to your needs.

I did find another way.  Thanks very much for the input.  I was able to make my changes in local group policy after all my changes were done in IE I took the hidden group policy folder and copied it to another workgroup computer restarted and it worked.

Now my client can make changes to one machine and replicate the group policy folder through his software and change all his kiosk machines.

Nobody else had any other solutions, and this will exactly what I want to do without learning scripting.  Very simple solution.
