Exchange 2010 Recovery without EDB File / only transaction logs

Hello

I have following issue. In an infrastructure we had an Exchange 2010 database crash. the last full backup is 4 days old. because there was no way to repair the database i restored the 4 day old backup. so far so good...but is there a way that i can restore the missing 4 days of mailbox items? i have all the log files but no valid edb file. is there a way to set up a new database without the edb file? i don't want to touch the current database..maybe it is possible with the use of the recovery database?

No there is no simply way to get logs replayed from XYZ and create a new DB ... you can use some 3rd party to extract data from logs but if you have copy as if they extract and corrupt some log your left in between.

So only you can restore again and replay along if sequence in place.
You can use some 3rd party after making copy of the original logs (No freeware available as i know)

Kernel and Ontrack ....... one of the better ones but please check support and price and what they can best do as every few days now the products keep upgrading and its been sometime ago i used them
