Hi Experts,

We are using Visualk Studio 2012 and TFS Server 2010.  We are receiving alerts fir checkins but not for Task updates. Under Team -> Project Alerts we checked My work items are changed by others, but we are not getting emails.  Any ideas?

Thanks

And you are sure the cases applies, whichever it is ,something like your own work item (modified) OR a work item was assigned to you  was modified by others, then saved?

could you try to remove that subscription and add it again ?

if no alerts at all came from that server, I would have said it is a configuration issue.
but email alerts in TFS usually work or don't

there is also always Alerts explorer in the tools menu I believe to preview things.
