I have a user using windows XP and excel 2007.  When this user tries to filter something in excel the boxes aren't coming up so she can check the dates... See attached. The user to this point has been rebooting - but to me that's  not a solution.  Any help would be appreciated.

The data you are trying to filter might contain merged cell.Split the merged cells in your workbook and then check.

Thank you.
