Steps to upgrade vCenter from Ver 5.0 Upd 1 to 1) Upd 2 2) Ver 5.1

Q1:
Can someone provide instruction on how to upgrade an existing
vCenter 5.0 Upd 1  to

1) Ver 5.0 Upd 2
2) Ver 5.1 (suppose this is older than 5.1 Upd 1)

Q2:
Pls provide the links to download those update files
(5.0 Upd 2  &  5.1)

Q3:
Would it be a good idea to take a snapshot backup 1st.

vCenter Server 5.1a is the latest!

Q1.

1. Insert the CDROM/ISO and Click the Setup, and perform and inplace upgrade.
2. Insert the CDROM/ISO and Click the Setup, and perform and inplace upgrade.
(you may want to think about whether todo this, because it often fails!)

Q2. here

Q3. You *SHOULD* always take backups before you proceed with any changes to production servers.
