Disable QoS on Allied telesin switch 610

Posted on 2013-06-11
Last Modified: 2013-06-24

Recently I have enabled QoS on the switch (mls qos enable) and created and configured class and policy maps.

I now would like to disable or remove QoS. Which commands do I need to execute to achieve this. mls qos disable is not a valid command.

Thanks in advance.

You could try 'no mls qos enable'; if it has a Cisco-like CLI, it should work.

I tried the command but it did not work.

no mls qos enable

Invalid input detected at`^` marker

Any other suggestions?

Did you enter it in configuration mode or in exec mode?
What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I tried both,, in config mode invalid input is under enable instead of mls.

Ok I entered the command no mls qos  without enable and did not get an error so it seems to have worked.

Okay, so it's a bit different from Cisco... :)
Anyway, glad to hear it works!
