Real time traffic monitoring for TMG 2010

I need to monitor real time internet traffic with a useful and capable software that can run on TMG 2010.
If your suggestions according to limited budget <$1000 perpetual (not annual subcription) that would be much appreciated.
I have 1100 students and approx 500 PCs and wireless mobile clients.
