On windows server 2008 r2 with IIS 7, we have an internal application running.

suddenly, users receive the following error:

404 Not Found

nginx/1.0.4

i tried with 1-2 other sites on the server and same thing.

this happened all of the sudden. the only way it works is if you are on the server itself and browse to either 127.0.0.1 or localhost. but the internal IP 10.0.20.10 does not work, even from the server's own browser.

Help!!!

Have you changed permissions on the folders where the code sits?  Any recent changes to code or changes in IIS?

Do you have multiple websites hosted on the IIS or Just one. May be 127.0.0.1 is bound to a different web site vs 10.0.20.10.

if you browse to the folder that is referenced in IIS does the necessary files exist?
