I cannot connect to one terminl server from home,  getting this message "Your computer could not connect to another console session on the remote computer because you already have a console session in progress" and so Im not able to connect to the server. Please consider the informations given below.

1. I'm able to make remote connections to other terminal servers from home.
2. I can make remote connection to this particular server using other laptops from home.
3. This particular laptop gets remote connected to this server from every other locations (eg: Mcdonalds) and mobile hotspots.

So this problem exists only when this particular laptop is connected to the Home wireless network. Please help me in this case.

Note: OS is Win7 and is connected through VPN to the company server

Any questions, suggestionsand answers are welcome.

What is the IP of the computer you are connecting to and from?  It sounds like your computer is trying to connect back to itself.  You will get the same error if you try to connect to 127.0.0.1 as a test.

Now the problem is fixed when I rebooted the terminal server. Please let me know if you find anything important from the above config.

Thanks a lot

Your wireless network is using the same ip space as the vpn network. This will cause issues.

Your wireless ip currently is 10.0.0.9. When VPN connected, you will be able to connect to any VPN resource EXCEPT 10.0.0.9(your local IP) and 10.0.0.1(Your Local Gateway).

You should either change the ip range of your home network to something different than your work network(maybe 192.168.101.0/24), or change your homes DHCP scope to issue IP addresses outside the range of the resource you want to connect to.
