I  have a SQL Server 2012 evaluation version installed I my machine which will expire in few days. Now, just received a  copy of full version from my work place to install SqlServer 2012 developer version.
What is the safest step to install this full version on my pc. Do I first un-install the evaluation version and then install this full developer version? Or how does it work?

Thanks

You should be able to use the developer version media to upgrade your existing evaluation copy
