What an annoyance .....<br />

So, why do I need to SHUTDOWN a server when I am remotely an can’t &nbsp;put my finger in the power button to get it back on?<br />

What is the sense for that and why can't t be install updates and re-stat, which implies a shutdown?<br />

Any ideas ..... Need to install a security software remotely but it is telling the machine is awaiting for a restart. Did a restart and the situation remains the same so I am guessing is because of the &quot;install updates and shutdown&quot; message.
