Hello
I want to buy HP P2000 G3 MSA Array 8 GB FC interface and use it as a SAN.
My question is can I use it with windows 2008R hyper v failover capabilities or must I buy extra software  please advice

You can use it with Windows 2008 Failover Clustering, but you will need to purchase Fibre Channel HBAs for your physical servers.

So I don’t need to buy a HP P2000 SAN Kit or SAN starter kit
and between san controller and HBA is it single or multi mode fiber cable please advice

no need to purchase unless the components are cheaper, purchase in a kit.
