At the risk of looking silly.. &nbsp;You need to have an OS to do a restore.. &nbsp;DriveImageXML, Acronis TrueImage, Ghost, are the exceptions to this rule as you can restore a volume image and not just individual files. &nbsp;Windows Backup, while helpful to backup registry, drivers, etc. you still have to have an OS to do file restores.<br />
<br />
Of course, you want to backup critical business documents, etc.<br />
