I have a physical windows 2008 R2 server that is just a file server and backup DNS server.  I need to do a full migration to a new server.  What is the most efficent way to accomplish this task?

Can you give more information?  Why do you need to do this, and what version of Server do you wish to end up with?

I ended buying a new server and going to migrate our environment to Hyper-V and set everything up correctly and make things more efficient on our end.

Thanks
