BackupExec 2012 Media Set
Hello,
I use BackupExec 2012 and a Autoloader with 8 Slots for our Backup.
I want to build a Media Set of 4 Tapes for the incremental Backup Monday to Thursday.
Is it possible to write the first backup on tape one of the set then protect it for 7 days so the next backup is stored to tape 2 also lock it for 7 days, next backup is stored on tape 4 and so on.
How do I have to set the writeprotection and the append settings of the Media Set?
Can you suggest me a better way to use the Media Set?
Greetings
