I have been planning to upgrade from sp 2 rollup 5 to sp 3 but I have read a lot of people reporting issues when trying to install sp 3 or post-install. Are there are any prelim tasks I should carry out to try and ensure things go smoothly? It's our only server so can't really afford mistakes.<br />

For reference, we have a win2k8 running hyper-v, with an sbs 2011 vm for active directory and exchange and a win2k8 vm for SQL.
