in BackupExec 2012 I have to create a copy to tape job for each server, not like in 2010 where I was able to backup to disk and after all B2D are done copy the hole backups to the tape.<br />
<br />
I configured BackupExec 2012 with a backup to tape at the end for each server backup.<br />
<br />
I use a library and created a media set with 4 tapes for the backup from monday to thuesday, will I get a problem because the tape will be locked after the backup job from server one?<br />
Or is BackupExec locking the Backupfiles on the tape instead of the tape itself?<br />
<br />
How I have to configure the backup2tape for each job?<br />
Can I use different lock times?<br />

BackupExec 2012 multi Backup copy to tape

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). "Restore" in turn means the methods and processes involved in data recovery, i. e., bringing back copied computer data to their original location.
