OWA Works - Outlook Bounces Back

I have Exchange Server 2010.  I have had my settings verified as correct (MX record, Send Connectors, etc.).  I am getting e-mail bounce backs for mail sent from my Outlook client.  I sent the same e-mail using OWA and it was sent successfully.  How is the mail handled by OWA versus Outlook through my Exchange Server 2010?  What do I need to look for in either my Outlook Client or my Exchange Server?

Thanks in advance -- John

Hello John,

Is it just one Outlook user with the problem? Just ceratin external emails that bounce?

The AutoComplete feature in Outlook immediately springs to mind.
If the Outlook client has the wrong / invalid email address in autocomplete, when user starts typing, it completes the address with the wrong address. OWA wouldn't suffer from this.
Try typing in the whole email address rather than letting it autocomplete.

If its just the one Outlook client, try recreating the user's Outlook Profile.

If none of these, check this article out:
