This is using MS Windows 2008 AD Domain. Recently, found that a lot of users were given a chance to download IE 10 via Windows Updates. Because to the fact that IE 10 has a lot of bug and management decided not to let the users download. How to stop them from downloading? Through Group Policy?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Just go through the link below which suggest that you can block the executable file download on Proxy Server only. If you are not using Proxy server then you can try the other steps mentioned to configure the AppLocker as well.
