Strip text from flash file

I need to change the text from this flash file without breaking it?  What should I use?

The Flash file that you have - is it a .swf or a .fla? (or something else?)

If it is a .fla file, you need Adobe Flash Professional installed on your computer and the video above will help you.

If you have a .swf file (published Flash movie) you cannot edit this directly. You need to first turn it back into a .fla file. To do this you need to use a Flash decompiler. Google the term "Flash decompiler" to see some choices. I use http://www.sothink.com/product/flashdecompiler/
