Exchange 2010 is giving a message when I try and send to an email address

The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. Please check the recipient's e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

Any ideas?

This is due to a bad cached auto complete or bad email addresses entered in the contacts. Usually it only happens in Outlook 2010, you can send email in the Outlook Web APP without any problem.
case 1: it you are sending mail from outlook. then you need to download the address book.

file-->account settings-->download address book.

if it is in \rooms change it to \global address book.

and click okie.

Note: verify - is the user is active in AD or not.

Case 2: if you are using any applications to send emails. please verify the SMTP address you are using.

I made an external contact within the Exchange console. The error isn't coming up.
Is that a possible fix?

Its was an external client that I made....the error seems to have gone.
