Citrix XenApp Plugin Internet Explorer 10 & Windows 8 Install Issue

Using Window 8 with IE 10 and trying to open my terminal session for the first time I get to the Citrix XenApp splash screen with a link to install the plugin to "Access my Applications". After clicking "Install" I am redirected to http://www.citrix.com/downloads.html (where there are only server side installations and not plugins) instead of the plugin actually installing. After reading about this in Google searches many people suggest compatibility mode which does not work because there is no option for that on this site. I also see many people who roll back to IE9 but this is not an option since it's a windows 8 Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet and not a machine that once ran Windows 7. Do you know of any Citrix Hotfix or anything else that would allow me to run my terminal session without creating a VM?
