word 2003:  how to shutfoff/hide track changes

Hi EE,

i went to tools/options/security to uncheck so that tracking is hidden

yet it still shows...

tx for writing...

yes am aware of that post, thats how was able to get to the dialogue box at all

yet still it's showing the red markups...

Did try " click Accept Change or Reject Change/Delete Comment for each revision or comment." then save changes, close the document, and reopen it.

wow, did not think of that....

i found the accept button on the toolbar, clicked accept all changes

closed and reopened document
