Hello, we just got a few new mac books in the office and I am in the process of setting them up but hit a fork in the road with the apple ID's I am trying to decide if I should allow the users to use their personal Apple ID's with the laptops to may it easy syncing there personal Iphone's and Ipad's or is there a way to setup the system using a company created Apple ID and still sync there personal Iphone and Ipads?

I would use their personal Apple IDs for easy syncing. If you are planing on using any apps for business know that the owner of the app is the holder of the Apple ID. If the employee leaves the company, they take the app with them.

If you plan on using the iPhones or iPads for business data and apps, you can implement an MDM solution. This will allow you to manage the iOS devices and push corporate apps and data. If the employee leaves, you can perform a corporate wipe and remove only the corporate side leaving the personal side intact. This plays very nice with BYOD.

There are many MDM vendors like MaaS360, Airwatch-they are a monthy per-device pay model. You can use Meraki's System Manager as a free MDM solution. They have done a great job in simplifying the managing of mobile devices.

Ideally while setting up the mac machines - use the company apple id's as these would be used on the Mac Appstore.

Iphone and ipads sync to the mac machines using the program itunes. Itunes can be configured with a separate apple id as required.

I hope this helps clarify your main concerns and addresses your question.
