Hi,

how can I load a datalist control with all rows in edit mode when loading the page? If not possible, is there any control there to do it?

thanks

Hi ayha1999,

Datalist control cannot be loaded in a EditMode on page load Event & the same follows with gridview.

as you must be aware editing takes place on one particular row in datalist and gridview both.
the way you are interested in is only possible in window based application.

if you want an edit facility in datalist you can try out with the link below.
Edit / Delete records using Data List in ASP.NET

hope this helps.
