Server upgrade from sbs2003 to Server Std 2012

I am upgrading from sbs203 to server 2012 standard. We are already using cloud email so Exchange is not a worry, and we have no intention of using SharePoint. I have a couple of questions:
1. Can I run WSUS on the DC or do I need a VM for it?
2. Should I consider RDS? I have 3 users who want RWW and I thought I could just do some port forwarding. 3388 to PC 1, 3387 to PC2, 3386 to PC3.

What are your thoughts?

1) you can install Wsus on domain controller, you need to separate machine for this

2) RDS can be installed on domain controller

Thanks, I will install a VM and put WSUS on it.
