GMail running slow

Hi, I have a number of users on a site running Google Apps for Business. Several have large e-mail repositaries, circa 20GB. One however seems to run very slow both viewing on his PC or connecting through to his iPhone.

Can anyone suggest what we can do/how we can go about improving this situation?

Many thanks, EH
