Sharepoint Error on SBS 2011 server

I am getting the following error when I try to open the authentication icon in IIS 7.5 for my SBS Sharepoint website

There was an error while performing this operation.

Details :

Filename: \\?\C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Bin\WebApp\InternalWebSite\web.config
Line number: 21
Error: There is a duplicte 'system.web.extensions/scripting/scriptResourceHandler' section defined

Any Idea how I can fix this?

If I were you, I would make a backup of the web.config quoted in the error, then go into the file, remove line # 21 and try again.
The worst that can happen is you have to restore from your backup.  please make sure you backup your web.config before you do anything though

I tried that and it gave me the same error but the duplicate was on line 22

So now line 22 of that web.config is no longer the same as line 21?
If the duplicate has been removed and it still is giving you this error, you might try an iisreset

I eventually switched the application pool from asp.net 4.0 to asp.net 2.0 and it started working...

None of the solutions offered corrected the problem, I found the solution myself elsewhere.
